Scentsy and Me

Scentsy has been so wonderful for me. This is one of the best part time jobs I have EVER had in my lifetime, and I have had a lot of them.

You are probably wondering what Scentsy is…well, let me tell you a little bit about it. Scentsy started back in 2003. Scentsy has grown from then until now. Scentsy warmers are truly unique and offer a great smell for your house, camper, dorm room, bathroom, laundry room, anywhere where you have an electrical outlet. Scentsy warmers are run off of a 25 watt light bulb that fits into the base of the warmer. There is a top “tray” that holds the Scented wax bar, which is in turn melted down and produces this wonderful smell that will smell any room and then some that you put it in.

The wax that is used for the Scentsy bar is a petroleum based wax, I know, you are probably thinking “petroleum,” but I am here to tell you that you do not have to worry about anything being put into the air except for the smell. The wax is soft enough to hold a very strong Scent and also strong enough to melt the wax bar.

Scentsy offers over 40 different warmers and over 80 different Scents. Scentsy also offers Car Candles (the medallions that you hang in your car to make it smell good) and Scentsy room sprays (way more potent than the wax bars). Each month Scentsy comes out with a new warmer of the month (available for a limited time) and also a new Scent of the month.

With the new warmer and Scent of the month that comes out, during that month you are offered a 10% discount, which means the following:
Warmer of the month: $27.00
Scent of the month - bar: $4.50
Scent of the month – car candle: $2.70
Scent of the month – room spray: $7.20
Scent of the month – brick: $18.00

Scentsy is great for a house party, basket party (catalog party) or even fundraising. Email me if you would like to host any of these events. If you are local, this can be done with me coming to your house and showing you how it works. If you are out of the area, I can set up an “online event” where you are the hostess and all orders can be placed via the internet, which of course is a safe and secure site.
